Kim’s Gym Cares
At Kim’s Gym, we are more than just gymnastics. We are working to have a lasting influence that teaches kids to be caring, thoughtful, kind, and giving. There are multiple aspects of our community outreach program, Kim’s Gym Cares.
Bravo Team
This class for children with physical disabilities was started by Kim’s Gym Owner and Director, Kim Lindauer and Doug Levine, Owner and Physical Therapist at Growing Places. Students are paired 1:1 with a volunteer each week who encourages them to do gymnastics but most importantly, have fun! If you have a child that is interested in participating or would like to become a volunteer, please email Info@KimsGym.com.
Family Day of Giving
Experience family volunteerism at its best, while benefiting local non-profits! This event provides the opportunity for families to spend an afternoon volunteering together, and parents to teach their children about the importance of giving. For more information about this event, please email FamilyDayofGiving@KimsGym.com.
Check back soon for our 2019 date and time.
Performance Teams Give Back
Our performing teams take part in multiple community service events throughout the year. They are taught that giving as a team is just as important as practicing and growing as one! During the 2018 season our teams participated in Cards for Kids as well as performed at Westminster Manor Retirement Home.
